MIROH
On this legit NES/Famicom game, you need to survive as the Minotaur in a random maze. The king Polyo-Minos not only locked you here, but he keeps sending some weird polyominos, cluttering the maze. At least he sends some fruits along with those blocks…
Update 1.0.1 (2023-10-05): fixed gamebreaking bug where player would keep playing after dying.
Update 2.0.0 (2023-10-11, POST-JAM version):
- Better help screen
- Web and standalone NES ROM display different buttons to avoid confusion
- Better polyomino controls: up for hard drop, hold left/right/down for repeated movement
- More predefined, semi-fixed mazes (is "No maze" a maze?)
- Preview of the next 2 polyominos
- Polyominos are chosen from a randomized bag instead of being purely random
- Many other assorted fixes
Update 2.0.1 (2023-10-11, POST-JAM version):
- Game can now be paused (with start/enter)
- Pause screen gives the option to resume or to quit game
- Hard drop now drops harder

We featured this game in our magazine's Arcade section! The review:
"In the world of arcade games, that balance, that friction? It can be like gravy - either perfecting the steak tips or ruining them. I'm happy to say Miroh's combination of game mechanics is one tasty gravy. It's gonna kick your ass, and it's gonna make the meal that much better.
This is diner-style arcade action at its finest. It's multitasking mayhem. It's Miroh."
